I worry sometimes that we do some books that are a bit lightweight for the Cygnus membership: this though is not one of them. The subtitle is The Maheshwara Sutra, which is attributed to Shiva and passed on to us around 2200 years ago. It is a record of the world being created by sound. The different sound keys are supposed to create vibrational shifts in us. Sound is everything. The book is over 500 pages long and includes all sorts of commentaries and glossaries that involve quantum physics, sacred geometry and varied streams of classical Indian wisdom. I don’t claim to understand one tenth of it, but the author has written many other books on connected subjects and I trust what he says. Books like these can lead to astounding spiritual journeys.
