Many of us at Cygnus love cats and most of us must love spiritual teachings so what’s not to welcome with this book? It’s large-format, hardback and full of amazing art on every page. The illustrations are in different formats: some are watercolours and some are line drawings, and it’s rich and multifaceted. It’s made for adults but it’s written as a fable, as the cat journeys across the countryside meeting various other animals in the quest for a special place where it can easily find peace and understanding. Of course it would make an excellent gift. I have read it once and I couldn’t say whether its teachings will change my life but it will definitely point the reader strongly in the right direction. And I am virtually certain that it will bring calm and comfort to any reader who is lost and searching for the way.
